The story behind the three letters.

J is for Jack, the oldest. C is for Corey, the middle. And R for Ryan, the youngest.

Our father, Dan, named the company after us because golf, for our family, was always more than just a game. It was the four of us spending countless hours on the course, learning the game through the lessons, the needling, and the time shared together.

Dan spent 15 years in the golf industry with some of the biggest brands in the game: MacGregor, TaylorMade-Adidas, Slazenger, and Under Armour Golf. He learned how products are designed, costed, and made, and he came away with firm ideas about what a golf bag should be: useful, thoughtful, and built for the player carrying it.

What he did not want was a billboard. Too many bags were built around the brand first: big logos, loud panels, and not enough attention to the golfer using them. So, in 2010, he left to build bags a different way, starting with ours.

The JCR mark stays small on purpose. The name that gets room is the one you choose: your name, your club, your company, or the people you play with. That is the whole point. The product should be personal to you, the way this company is personal to us.

16 years later, we are still building quality products out of the family passion of our youth. Those original principles still hold. Every JCR bag is built for you and your needs on the course: a place for every club, your phone, your tools, and the details that usually get skipped.
